Dress Making Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dress Making Supervisor to lead our team and contribute to the success of our retail fashion store. The Dress Making Supervisor will oversee daily operations, drive sales, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for fashion, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and motivate a team of dress makers.
• The supervisor should be able to ensure timely deliveries and ensure maximum output from workers
• Provide guidance, training, and coaching to staff to enhance their product knowledge.
• Ensure a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork and high performance.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional service.
• Monitor inventory levels and merchandise presentation to ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Implement merchandising strategies and window displays to attract customers and showcase new arrivals.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving sales and stock levels.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
• Coordinate with the store manager on inventory management and replenishment orders.
• Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maintain store security.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in investigating any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• HND or Diploma equivalent.
• Proven experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
